Hey!
My name is Nick Stefanski. My guess is you're here because my resume or LinkedIn profile piqued your interest. Regardless of what brought you here, thank you for taking the time to learn more about me, what I'm capable of, and what's important to me.
Having been interested in creative endeavors my whole life, a career in marketing seemed like the obvious choice when I had to select a major for my college applications (even though plenty of my teachers said engineering would serve me well). It felt like an ever-evolving mix of artistic efforts, problem-solving, and analytical thinking - all things I could excitedly see myself doing, and doing well.
My first choice college, The University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, accepted my application. After wrapping up my gen-ed classes, my courses in marketing and graphic design reinforced my confidence in my major and minor, respectively. Not only was I challenged in a variety of ways, but I found myself enjoying the challenges and working on projects, of which I was very proud.
Between my third and fourth years of college, I had the opportunity to do an internship in Colorado. I jumped at the opportunity without hesitation. Little did I know this would be the start of an eight-and-a-half-year journey with National Flooring Equipment. After two months as an intern, I earned the opportunity to continue providing value for the business from afar. Again, hesitation was absent.
While finishing my education, I helped National Flooring Equipment maintain an online presence and created miscellaneous materials to support the domestic and international sales teams in their efforts. The stars aligned and shortly after graduating college, I moved from Wisconsin to Colorado with my high school sweetheart to kick off the next chapter in our lives.
The following seven years came with growth beyond anything I could've expected, both profesionally and personally. I honed my skills as a marketer, learned what it took to be a dedicated partner, and was challenged to understand what was truly important to me - all of which are ongoing lessons.
When I'm not working, I love immersing myself in activities that fuel my creativity, keep me grounded, and allow me to grow.
I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's camping, hiking, or simply breathing fresh air. At home, you'll often find me connecting with friends over video games or working on cars—both hobbies that satisfy my love for problem-solving and hands-on projects. I'm also an admirer of art in its many forms; from getting lost in a book to watching creatives explore their art to searching for any new source of inspiration, I'm captivated by it all. My camera is often by my side on these adventures, capturing memories and finding new ways to tell stories.
My wife and I moved back to Wisconsin at the end of December, excited to continue our journey side by side. With this change comes the incredible opportunity to explore new ways in which I can grow professionally and continue my pursuit to be a life-long learner.
Please reach out to me (scroll to the bottom of the page for contact info) if you have any questions or would like to get to know me better.
Thank you again for your time and interest in me.
